Saint Patrick's "Weekend" 2014 at Rogues'

I grew up around Boston, a very Irish city, the Celtics, Southie, yeah...Anyway, only the actual day, March 17, was St. Patrick's Day. Everyone went all out, all green, all beer, heaping plate of corned beef and cabbage, Irish fiddle music everywhere, dancing, the whole Irish enchilada as it were. It's a wicked big day.I loved it. But here it seems to be more of a weekend event, so we're going with it this year since St. Pat's falls on a Monday. Monday is an underwhelming day for such a jubilant holiday.
So, we declare it St. Patrick's weekend. Meaning, Corned Beef & Cabbage, Chocolate Guinness Pudding, Cheddar Potato Soup, and craft beer, lots and lots of craft beer will be served Saturday, Sunday and MONDAY, March 15, 16 & 17. Our brewers have even crafted their first IPA just for the occasion. Not an Irish brew by any means, but we think it goes well with corned beef and cabbage. So why not? Saturday isn't technically St. Patrick's day either...But we'll be wearing green and serving all our St. Pat's specials.
Can't wait. Wear Green. Eat Corned Beef. Drink Beer. Big, big fun. All weekend.
