"New" Owner & Manager at Rogues' June 2019

Well, it's been about 3 1/2 years since I last posted. A lot has happened. As most of you know, I sold the Rogues' Harbor Inn in December 2015 to pursue my life long dream of designing and fabricating fine jewelry. It was a bittersweet goodbye. I really loved Rogues', but I had to pursue my dream and the rigorous schedule of operating the inn, restaurant & brewery were just not allowing me to do that. I have had the privilege for the past three years of working with Fareed Abdulky, master jeweler of 55 years, at Carla Bijouterie in Ithaca. It has been wonderful. Now, Rogues' has lured me back. I have always loved it, and I think it loves me. My plan is to remain at Carla Bijouterie and operate the inn. I would like to lease out the restaurant space and there a few truly excellent operators considering it (stay tuned). Of course, Salt Point Brewing is doing a fabulous job with their place next door and they will be there until their new facility around the...

Locally sourced Christmas Eve Ithaca New York

Wow its only three days until Christmas Eve and I have not finished my shopping yet, but we are ready for Christmas Eve dinner (and New Year's Eve). Chef Vince has put together a locally sourced, globally inspired festive holiday offerings including his famous Tiramisu. We will be serving dinner from 5 - 8 pm on Christmas eve. Oktoberfest 2015 in Ithaca, the Heart of the Finger Lakes

Rogues' Harbor's Octoberfest Kielbasa Oktoberfest is here and Rogues' Harbor Inn is celebrating all week with Eastern European features. We have lots of hand crafted ales as always- even two of our own IPAs: Lemon Drop IPA and Underground Black IPA. Our features are: Ginger Pumpkin Bisque, Octoberfest Kielbasa on a pretzel roll with sauteed peppers and onions, fresh sauerkraut & whole grain mustard along with hand cut steak fries. We think that pairs well with any good beer, so choose your favorite ale or try something new. Just get in here before it's all gone....

Finger Lakes Cider week at the Rogues' Harbor Inn, Ithaca, NY 2015

We are so blessed in the Ithaca area with several hard cider makers, tons of apple growers and at least 100 wonderful restaurants. We are honored to join forces and make it a celebration- Finger Lakes Cider Week 2015. Our chefs have created several hearty, apple inspired dishes plus we will be serving: Eve's Cidery's (Trumansburg, NY) Beckhorn Hollow, Original Sin's Hard Cider and Hazlitt's (Hector, NY) Cider Tree. Don't worry if you're not a hard cider person. Our brewers at Stouthearted have brewed two incredible IPAs which we think pair well with all our apple inspired offerings: Black IPA and Lemon Drop IPA. Apple growers, cideries and restaurants have come together for Finger Lakes Cider Week to bring you the best eating and drinking of the year. It's October 2 - 11. Don't miss it!
