Hello! It's been a while since our last blog post, but we're back!
Over the winter we've been working on spiffing up the building - painting, deep cleaning, replacing old appliances, adding new amenities. There's a new shine on the place!
The B&B and restaurant are humming along nicely. Our new B&B Manager, Ed Cohn has raised the bar, taking the B&B breakfasts to a new level with fresh baked scones and biscuits, plus a whole new set of delicious entrees: a 5-cheese, seasonal vegetable frittata, stuffed French toast (an old family recipe), fresh fruit bread pudding, omelettes to order, Ed's own potato "bomb" and more.
Our dinner chef, Eric "Kope" Koppenhafer has created a new menu featuring the usual great burgers, steaks, fish and pasta dishes and has added a vegan kofta - a deep fried dumpling with a mix of sweet potatoes, butternut squash and cauliflower served with a curry sauce - yum! The appetizers are a meal in themselves: nachos, flatbread pizzas, calamari and our famous wings and more. There is also a kid's menu, so bring the whole family. Our porch offers outdoor dining. The bar is offering an array of local wines and beers on tap as well as some fun bar food specials.
